Jodi Rich

Jodi Rich, owner and studio director, originally from Long Island, New York, grew up in Sarasota, Florida. She began dance at age 8. She trained in Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Modern,Acrobatics, Lyrical and Hip Hop. She was a featured soloist with the West Coast Dance Project working with esteemed choreographers such as: Jerri Houlihan, David Storey, Eddie Toussiant and Mia Michaels.

Competitively, Jodi has won numerous awards and has competed Nationally with Dance Master of America. In 1997, Jodi was 1st runner up Miss Dance of Florida. Jodi attended New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida on a full dance scholarship. After college, she returned to Sarasota to extend her teaching credentials. Through Dance Masters of America, Jodi has tested and is certified in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Acrobatics. Jodi also has her Aerobics certification through AFFA and has taught classes in Sculpt, Step, Cycling and Cardio Dance.

Before Jodi began dancing, she was a gymnast. Jodi feels dance and gymnastics go hand and hand. Jodi received her certification through the Patti Komara Tumble Bear Gymnastic Program, which focuses on gymnastics for children under the age of 8.

Jodi is dedicated to sharing dance with children of ages and help them achieve their goals.
