Christina Marcus

Christina Marcus has been dancing since she was nine years old. She was very successsful in regional and national competitions winning numerous awards and scholarships for her dancing. Christina was a cheerleader for two years in high school and is a former Miss Teen Sarasota.

After high school Christina went onto further her dance education as a dance major at New World School of the Arts/University of Florida on a full scholarship and graduated magnum cum laude with a BFA. She also trained at the Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, and Merce Cunningham studios on scholarship, and had the amazing opportunity to be chosen and featured in pieces choreographed by these dance pioneers. She has also worked with Robert Battle, Peter London, Jerri Houlihan to name a few, and has performed with Cirque Productions. Straight out of college Christina joined Buglisi/Foreman Dance Company and began her professional career. She was in the company for over three years and has had the wonderful opportunity to perform all over the world.

Currently, Christina is studying to be a Physical Therapist Assistant as well as enhancing her skills as a dancer and as a teacher. Christina is excited to be a part of this new journey, Zero Gravity!
